Chick Peas in curry leaves


Joy's all time favourite dish!

Ingredients:

  • 300 gm chick peas (soaked overnight in filtered water)
  • 3 sprigs fresh curry leaves
  • 1 tsp black mustard seeds
  • 1 onion (cut and finely diced)
  • 2 tsp Celtic sea salt


For Chilli Lovers!
Add 4-6 dried chillies 
(seeded and cut into strips)

Method:


  1. Drain water away from the chick peas.  
  2. Boil chick peas in water and seas salt until soft.  Then drain the water.
  3. In a fry pan, saute onions, mustard seeds, curry leaves and dried chillies until fragrant.
  4. Add boiled chick peas and continue to stir and well mixed.
  5. Add more sea salt if necessary.
  6. Serve as an entree or side dish.
  7. Enjoy!
    Then blend with extra virgin olive oil and 
    turn your chick peas into a dip!
