Joy's all time favourite dish! |
Ingredients:
- 300 gm chick peas (soaked overnight in filtered water)
- 3 sprigs fresh curry leaves
- 1 tsp black mustard seeds
- 1 onion (cut and finely diced)
- 2 tsp Celtic sea salt
For Chilli Lovers! Add 4-6 dried chillies (seeded and cut into strips) |
Method:
- Drain water away from the chick peas.
- Boil chick peas in water and seas salt until soft. Then drain the water.
- In a fry pan, saute onions, mustard seeds, curry leaves and dried chillies until fragrant.
- Add boiled chick peas and continue to stir and well mixed.
- Add more sea salt if necessary.
- Serve as an entree or side dish.
- Enjoy!
Then blend with extra virgin olive oil and
turn your chick peas into a dip!
