This blog attempts to show how a raw plant-based diet, eating mostly vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds and also drinking freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices daily in their raw form creates a robust immune system and helps revert sicknesses and diseases. Incorporating exercise is also vital in enhancing physical fitness and overall health and wellness.

Vegetarian Dry Vermicelli
Vermicelli is a very popular processed rice ingredient among the Singaporean Chinese. I remember eating cooked vegetarian vermicelli for breakfast 3-4 times a week as it was easily available at the hawker stalls in the food section of the local wet market in Singapore. In those days, most of the ingredients in the food I ate were cooked with high temperatures. Well, today since I had changed the way I eat my food, I had improvised the dish to make the vegetables warmed only very slightly so as not to kill the enzymes and minerals present. You can use most vegetables for this dish, just make sure you don't overcook them otherwise you will bring out the liquid in the vegetables and render the dish soggy. It is meant to be dry, vegetables are still crunchy, with full flavour and lots of colour!Friday, July 5, 2013

Then on the other hand, I can also eat chips prepared in a dehydrator. Well, one day I'll get to it but now back to the grilled red potato chips!

Vegetarian Lasage with Raw Cheese Flakes
You can create a healthier and non-diary cheese to add to your soups, salads, pizza, cheesy dishes, or anywhere else you would use traditional Parmesan cheese! What you need is a dehydrator!
Shreds of Colours
Pasta dishes are at the heart of Italian cuisine and possibly a favourite for most Australians, like myself. Though there are great gluten-free pasta of all shapes and sizes now on sale in the stores, however my understanding is that the less cooked and processed your food is, the less ACIDIC and better it is for your health. So I still prefer to eat my healthy 'spaghetti' the healthier way which I have prepared here!
