DID YOU KNOW?

The word diet first appeared in English in the 13th century. Its original meaning was the same as in modern English, “habitually taken food and drink.”

But diet was used in another sense too in the Middle and early modern English periods to mean “way of living.” This is, in fact, the original meaning of diet’s Greek ancestor diaita, which is derived from the verb diaitasthan, meaning “to lead one’s life.” In Greek, diaita, had already come to be used more specifically for a way of living prescribed by a physician, a diet, or other regimen.

I would like to suggest that diet is something we do for the rest of our lives.  It is a LIFESTYLE.  Typically, in our modern era, a diet is something a person does for a period of time to obtain a desired effect, and when the person may experience some improvement or a desired effect has been accomplished, the person reverts back to the old ways. So when a person goes back to the old ways of eating, the old problems usually return and sometimes with a vengeance.

Through my 22 years of personal research and experience, I came to realise that if my diet consists mainly of raw fruits and vegetables, raw seeds and nuts, a diet which contains no animal products, no refined foods, or chemical additives, it helps me create the foundation for which I can be rest assured I can have a robust immune system and helps revert sicknesses and diseases.

Our IMMUNE SYSTEM is comprised of a unique grouping of cells, designed by God, and given the task of identifying and destroying foreign invaders such as germs, viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites before they can do significant harm to the human physical body.  These disease-causing organisms are detected by the IMMUNE SYSTEM, tagged for destruction, and then annihilated by these hungry immune system cells when the IMMUNE SYSTEM is kept STRONG and HEALTHY and functioning at OPTIMAL LEVELS.

The IMMUNE SYSTEM was also created and designed to recognize cancer cells also as abnormal and unwelcome. A STRONG, HEALTHY, IMMUNE SYSTEM will seek out cancer cells and destroy them before they can multiply. The specific cells assigned with the task of destroying cancer cells are called “T” cells.

God had created the human physical body with this self protecting system built in, he's done HIS PART!

Now we do OUR PART!

I believe a healthy and proper diet simply provides the resources to support the body’s innate self-healing for ultimate health.

My blog and
especially health meetings have been designed for me to share my experience and health information both online and onsite over a period of 8-10 weeks, conduct food demonstration, provide on-going support for anyone who is seeking a healthier you and to come alongside your health journey!
