Make Your Own Natural Strawberry Milk Shake & Banana Ice Cream

Strawberries are a rich source of vitamin C and minerals such as calcium, phosphorus and potassium.  It also contains salicylates, which are natural pain-killers and a basic ingredient of aspirin.  With its combination of nutrients, strawberry juice is also an ideal complexion booster and offers general tonic for the body.  Strawberries are known by their deep red colour with seeds piercing through the surfaces. They are very sweet, filled with lots of juices and full of flavour. It is no wonder they are the most popular berry fruit in the world. They are most ideal for fruit salad, a refreshing health drink when diluted with orange, apple or pear juice, or eaten as a whole.

Yum!

This morning, I made a quick fix, one of my favourites, the dairy-free Strawberry Milk Shake for my husband, Paul.   In the mid afternoon,  I whipped up another favourite, delicious and mouth watering strawberry ice cream with fresh bananas, raw nuts and raisins for dessert, also free from dairy products and additives. Not a bad idea to have fruits before dinner!
